Educational Assistant for Centennial Elementary School at Scio School District 95C

 

7 hours per day

 

Starting Hourly Rate from - $14.70 to $17.60 based on experience

EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT

Reports to Building Principal

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES, including but not limited to:

1. Dictates prepared materials to students.
2. Oversees group practices and committee work.
3. Supervises free time/recess, and other activities.
4. Assist teacher with classroom activities.
5. Secures and puts away instructional materials needed by the teacher.
6. Records grades, scores tests and written work, which do not require subjective evaluation, but where a key is provided.
7. Takes all reasonable precautions to provide for the health and safety of the students and to protect equipment, materials and facilities.
8. Willing to attend classes related to assignment.
9. Immediately report any information regarding abuse of any kind to the appropriate administrator or social service agency.
10. Takes all reasonable precautions to provide for the health and safety of the students and to protect equipment, materials and facilities.
11. Be responsible for district keys as assigned.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Work year, wages and benefits as per OSEA contract. Obtain a criminal history background and fingerprint check. Obtain a First Aid and CPR card.
